I’m KC Kellman and I was born and raised in California, spending most of my days surfing and snowboarding at a young age. Ever since I can remember I have always been into art, which led to me obtaining a degree in architectural design. Around the age of 18 I got my first tattoo and fell in love with the art and industry. I apprenticed in 2006 under Notorious Ed Potter in Texas, where I was taught machine building, needle making, mixing pigment and all aspects of the tattooing. After my apprenticeship I moved back to California where I have tattooed at Clear Vision Tattoo, Simi Valley Tattoo, and Genuine Electric Tattoo. I’ve also spent time traveling to guest spot and tattoo around the world. As of 2017 I will be working among some of the most talented artist and I am beyond stoked to be apart of MD Tattoo Studio. I enjoy all styles of tattooing and designing art but I do find myself consistently going back to the American traditional styles. There are so many artist that influence me to strive to just keep learning everyday. If I’m not tattooing I can be found painting, traveling, and just enjoying life.
