For your nourishment during a session, just outside our doors is Butler’s Pizza and Ubatuba Acai. If you need some caffeine, a short walk across the street is an amazing coffee shop CafΓ© Ficelle.
MD Tattoo Studio is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 AM to 7 PM, and on Sunday from 11 AM to 5 PM.
We are now situated in a brand-new, modern tattoo studio in Thousand Oaks, California. Our address is 1655 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. #103, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362. We areΒ on the first floor under the salon suites, between Butler’s Pizza and Ubatuba.
Thousand Oaks, CA, is located in Ventura County, about 40 miles northwest of Los Angeles. Itβs easily accessible via the 101 Freeway. Its about 30 minutes from our old location in Northridge.

Absolutely! We accept first-come, first-serve walk-in appointments at any time during business hours. However, making an appointment is preferred.
Yes, we have private rooms available upon request. Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you’d like to be tattooed in a private setting.
The cost of your tattoo depends on its size, location, level of detail, color or black and gray, and the time needed to complete it. Pricing starts at $100 (shop minimum) for very small tattoos and goes up from there, except for Ani’s fine line tattoos, which start at $150. Tattoos taking an hour or more are priced according to your artistβs hourly rate, which can vary from $250 to $350 per hour. We can provide a close estimate based on your design and preferences, ensuring you have a clear idea of the costs involved.

Yes, we pierce earlobes for individuals aged 7 and up. For other types of body piercings, such as nose and navel piercings, the minimum age is 13.
If you are bringing a minor for a piercing appointment, you MUST have all necessary documents when you arrive. You must be the minor’s legal guardian and need to bring the child’s birth certificate, your ID, and a form of picture ID for the child. Your name must match the name on the child’s birth certificate.
No, we do not tattoo minors. California law requires that a person be at least 18 years of age to legally get a tattoo.
Please park in the back of the building. There are plenty of parking spaces available!
Please avoid consuming alcohol or using any blood-thinning over-the-counter medications (such as Ibuprofen and Aspirin) within 24 hours of your appointment.
Refrain from sun exposure/tanning beds for the two weeks prior to and after your appointment. Get a good night’s rest before, eat a full meal, and drink lots of water. We also recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that will not obstruct the area we’ll be tattooing.
