MD Tattoo Studio is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 7 pm.

We are now situated in a brand-new, modern tattoo studio in Thousand Oaks, California. Our address is 1655 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. #103, Thousand Oaks, CA 91362.

Our new tattoo shop is located in Ventura County, California, approximately 30 minutes from our old Northridge location and the San Fernando Valley/Los Angeles.

We have officially relocated our tattoo shop from Northridge to Thousand Oaks after a wonderful 16 years in Northridge. The move was prompted by the need for more space for our artists and, more importantly, our valued clients! We now also offer private rooms upon request.

There are several ways to make an appointment at MD Tattoos. Click the Contact tab, fill out the form, and submit. You can also email us at bookings@mdtattoostudio.com. Texting works great too at 805-910-1444. Additionally, you can call the shop or drop by in person!

Absolutely! We accept first-come, first-serve walk-in appointments at any time during business hours. However, making an appointment is preferred.

Yes, we have private rooms available upon request. Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you’d like to be tattooed in a private setting.

The cost of your tattoo depends on its size, location, amount of detail, color or black and grey, and the time needed to complete it. Pricing starts at $100 (shop minimum) for very small tattoos and goes up from there. Tattoos taking an hour or more are priced according to your artist’s hourly rate, which can vary from $100 to $350 an hour. Some of our artists also offer day rates.

Not yet, but we’re excited about offering piercing and the finest body jewelry very soon!

Yes, we have artists who specialize in cover-up tattoos! If you have a tattoo that you no longer love, we would be happy to transform it into something you’re thrilled about. Keep in mind that color tattoos typically work best for cover-ups.

Absolutely! We have artists who are skilled at touching up other artists’ work. We believe that if you’re not happy with an existing tattoo or you simply don’t want to go back to where you got it, you shouldn’t be stuck with it. We’ve got you covered!

Please park in the back of the building. There are plenty of parking spaces available!

Please avoid consuming alcohol or using any blood-thinning over-the-counter medications (such as Ibuprofen and Aspirin) within 24 hours of your appointment.

Refrain from sun exposure/tanning beds for the two weeks prior to and after your appointment. Get a good night’s rest before, eat a full meal, and drink lots of water. We also recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing that will not obstruct the area we’ll be tattooing.

We accept cash, credit cards, Venmo, and Zelle.
